Our client, a large B2B retailer in the ICT sector require an energetic and driven marketing and communications specialist to join their tight knit team on a maternity leave contract.

Job Outline:

Reporting into the national marketing manager of retail, the this role will involve being responsible for the development, execution, communication and evaluation of all regional marketing and promotional programs

  • Meeting assigned KPI’s
  • Provide marketing expertise and support to the region sales team
  • Identify and investigate marketing opportunities from products and offers that are available and contribute to the development of Marketing Plans
  • Develop, execute and evaluate the regional marketing plan
  • Lead in the design and execution of methods to evaluation the effectiveness of local marketing programs.
  • Monitor marketing programs and retail prospect volumes and provide recommendations for improvement as required.
  • Deliver a high standard of communication and customer service to internal and external customers
  • Create and implement the local area media plan, including the determination of the most appropriate channels to advertise products
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key manufacturers, distributors and agencies

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience working with competing deadlines and demands, heavy peak periods and fluctuating workloads
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
