We are currently recruiting for a role within one of the big four banks, and are looking for a compassionate person to join the Deceased Estates team. They are currently looking for an individual with strong administration skills to assist their team with a variety of tasks. If you are an all-rounder with a strong background in administration, this is the perfect position for you to develop your underlying administrative skills in a team dedicated to providing the best service during the hardest of times! Located in Redfern the office is easily accessible via public transport.
Your new role
As a Market Operations Associate your role will involve managing a high volume inbox to assist clients with numerous queries such as managing deceased estates cases, transferring funds between accounts, changing names on accounts, updation of account contact details, closing of accounts and so much more to provide you with the chance to develop your skills in the financial services industry.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a high volume email inbox to help solve and client queries in a timely manner
- Transferring of funds between accounts
- Changing details on accounts such as names, addresses, etc
- Closing accounts
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of outcomes and actions taken
- Providing administrative support to the deceased estates team
- Any other administrative tasks needed
Your skills and experience
- Strong administrative background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- You pride yourself on your ability to empathise of people and aim to go above and beyond to achieve the best outcome for them
- Banking and financial services experience isn't essential but may be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Motivated by the idea of helping others when they need it most
