Randstad is currently seeking a manager for a not-for profit organisation. This is a full time permanent role commencing as soon as possible in Mt Isa.

Duties:

  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate strategies for operational management and development of the Homelessness Programs to meet agreed organisational performance goals and objectives
  • Provides regular and consistent line management staff to ensure that they are meeting the service goals and managing their self-care and workload in this complex work. This includes management of leave and performance issues.
  • Managing a team of caseworkers
  • Liaise effectively with the Department of Communities.
  • Identify and monitor staffing needs
  • service delivery particularly in the areas of intake, assessment, case management, brokerage and referral.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant degree or qualification, including but not limited to the areas of social science and business and/or three to five years' experience in social and community services sector
  • Blue card
  • C class drivers licence
  • Demonstrated management experience
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • The ability to work outside normal business hours to meet the program and organsation needs.
