This role will require strong facilitation, administration and stakeholder management skills, as well as mature understanding of risk management and project management disciplines. Key aspects of the role would be:

  • Undertake detailed analysis of critical equipment performance, maintenance strategies and system design to implement improvement initiatives
  • Ensure Work Management (WM) compliance across functional areas (execution, planning and A&I)
  • Determine equipment capability assumptions to align with the 2 year production plan by identifying inefficiencies and review of life of plant, equipment and infrastructure and ultimately develop scope of requirements for the upgrades.
  • Provide specialist advice for quality of maintenance work that supports the benchmark of the equipment function

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical or a closely related discipline)
  • Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others act towards at risk conditions
  • Experience in end-to-end maintenance ( work management inclusive) in mineral processing plants
  • Proactive and intuitive problem solving skills with an attention to detail
  • Reliability management experience with exposure to RCM and FMECA will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated commitment to follow through and tenacity to overcome barriers to enable successful outcomes
  • Highly engaged, collaborative and committed to building mutually beneficial stakeholder and peer relationships across functional teams
  • Process safety understanding and proficiency of industrial Standards like AS, ISO, API and ASME
  • Root cause analysis (ARCA) and defect elimination experience will be considered advantageous
  • Exposure to maintenance management software such as SAP and experience with Availability Work Bench (AWB) will be beneficial.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and preference will be given to those with heavy fixed plant, resources and mining experience. Take this opportunity to secure a rare role offered as 5/2 from Adelaide. This roster does not support interstate applicants. Any relocation to Adelaide would be at your own cost.

This position will commence immediately and market rates are on offer. Join an established organisation offering good structure and support, further career opportunities and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
