A leading Tasmanian plumbing company, recognised for its commitment to service, is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee its maintenance operations.

The Role:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, leading a team of technicians and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Schedule and coordinate general plumbing and maintenance work, including overseeing emergency and preventative maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
• Provide experience and detailed support to plumbers before major works, including pre start safety checks, resource allocation, and material management.
• Ensure all work adheres to company standards, local codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and maintaining detailed records.
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, promptly addressing issues and collaborating with other divisions for a seamless client experience.

About you:

You will have worked in a similar role previously and being a qualified Plumber, you will be able to provide solutions to technical queries as they arise.

To be considered for this role you must

• Hold Certificate III in Plumbing
• Have a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role
• Have strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and relevant Plumbing & Building codes, legislation, and regulations.
• Have the ability to lead a team and demonstrate positive team-building skills.
• Demonstrated sound analytical and problem solving and decision making skills.
