job description

Our client is a Global FMCG Manufacturing Company located at 2 hours North of Melbourne in the beautiful Murray region. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager with manufacturing industry experience. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a vital role in the strategy and day to day operations of the maintenance team to ensure timely delivery of product as per schedule and specification.

Responsibilities;

  • Manage engineering and production teams with your extensive knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, breakdowns and project management.
  • Drive best practice engineering, ensuring maximised plant availability to meet demands of the business
  • Manage and drive a high-performance culture within the department.
  • Lead and support CI activities and improve site reliability and cost.
  • Provide the day-to-day operational leadership for trade's personnel.
  • Liaise with cross functional divisions to ensure issues with plant operation are resolved as soon as possible.
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements, directions and legislation and work in accordance with the company quality systems and other appropriate quality measures.

Skills and Attributes;

  • Proven experience in Maintenance management role within the FMCG Manufacturing industry
  • Experience in Reliability and Continuous Improvement
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and OHS is essential
  • Ability to build, manage and motivate team members
  • Strong Attention to detail
