Randstad have been engaged to source a switched on Graduate who would relish the opportunity to join a large transport organisation and grow their career with them.

The company and well known throughout the heavy haulage and mining / resources industries here in Australia, they have offices across all states and are growing at a significant rate.

This role will initially be based in either the Moranbah or Gladstone offices, some relocation assistance can be offered if needed.

We are looking for switched on people who are highly analytic and forward thinkers with great communication skills.

This role will involve the successful applicant in all areas in the business over a two year program that will shape them into the future managers of the organisation.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Forward planning and forecasting of drivers and assets required to meet customer demands;
  • Ensure drivers are appropriately trained, inducted, briefed on customer expectations;
  • Prepare internal and customer KPI reporting on safety, product delivery performance, asset and labour utilisation;
  • Prepare and distribute rosters to drivers, ensuring fatigue management is being avoided;

To be considered for this role you must have

  • A Business or Engineering Degree
  • Excellent communication and exceptional customer service skills;
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving approach;
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels in the organisation;
  • Superior planning and organisational skills;
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a changing demanding environment;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads;
  • Strong attention to detail;
