job description

A national company within the transport and logistics industry is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join one of their departments located in the Eastern Suburbs.

Working as part of the customer service team in a high pressure environment, you will be involved in everything from high volume data entry, general administration and liaising with large FMCG clients taking bookings. You will be required to have a high standard of customer service skills.

Your role will be liaising with our large FMCG clients. You will be representing us on a high level of customer service and multi tasking inputting the dispatch orders and processing documents along with using SAP. As we will be ramping up to Easter peak season in the next few months or so you will be required to be flexible if needed.

The position has the potential to be ongoing. The role is to work Monday to Friday 6-7 hours daily whilst training. Flexibility is required as in peak you might be required to work longer hours. This is a PM role with an hourly rate of $29.02

Debrief Clerk responsibilities are as follows;

  • Accurate data entry of compliant and non-compliant runs
  • Evidence of preparedness to contribute to the warehouse teamwork of the depot and adoption of all company policy and procedures.
  • Checking returned paperwork from drivers – making sure all POD’s, pallet dockets and paperwork has been received
  • Maintaining and updating all runs, driver information and times for deliveries made into SAP
  • Processing all non-compliant deliveries and creating reports
  • Entering of data into the SAP system on a daily basis.
  • Customer Service enquiries.
  • General Data entry
  • Assisting the Freight Management Team as required.
  • Assisting in the returns and damages process as required
  • Police clearance or willing to obtain
  • Blue collar industry background is desirable but not essential
