Full Job Description

Randstad are seeking a strong administrator that is dedicated, hard working and displays a 'can do attitude'. This is a fantastic opportunity to join successful Australian FMCG company that is passionate about the food industry, products and their people. They specialise in food logistics, distribution, sourcing, packaging and manufacturing services for the food industry. This is a temporary to permanent full time opportunity, located on the Northside of Brisbane.

To be successful in this role you will need to have exceptional customer service skills and thrive within a fast paced environment. You will be able to pick up systems quickly, prioritise work, have amazing problem solving skills and a background in logistics with a minimum of 2 years experience.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Answer incoming calls from clients, customers and drivers
  • Data entry / order entry
  • Respond to customer enquires / requests / issues
  • Come to quick conclusions for transport issues
  • Dispatch of interstate goods
  • Preparation and distribution of goods, ensure pallets are in the system correctly
  • Raise purchase orders for product/materials for each location as required
  • Cross check orders for dispatch
  • Problem solving

Selection criteria:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Experience working in transport or logistics - 2 or more years
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Experience dealing with complex issues
  • Strong software skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and be very proactive
  • Knowledge of FMCG/manufacturing industry
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and displays initiative
