Learning Support - Literacy Teacher

We are looking for Literacy - Learning Support Teachers who are compassionate, patient and hardworking and are looking for a new, rewarding opportunity..

Join our team of teachers working toward significant improvement within students literacy. Working collaboratively with teaching staff to identify, assess, plan, prepare and deliver effective teaching programs and interventions for identified students.

The Role:

  • Full Time & Part Time positions available
  • Working with a supportive team
  • Support teachers of students underachieving in the Literacy demands of the Key Learning Areas
  • Teach small groups of identified students to develop skills in Literacy
  • The ability to develop positive, professional relationships with staff
  • Willingness to liaise closely with key academic and pastoral staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing professional learning
  • Experience and interest in the use of Information Technology in working with students with learning needs
