    About the company
    Located in Melbourne's North-West suburbs, Our client is a world-renowned organisation that is currently looking for a talented Linehaul Loading Supervisor to be part of a talented and high-energy team.     The Opportunity
    As the Linehaul Loading Supervisor some of the responsibilities required to perform but not limited to are:

    • Plan all loading activity for interstate freight deliveries
    • Ensure work is undertaken in a safe efficient manner,
    • Liaise with the Planning team to effectively plan and meet agreed service time-lines
    • Collaborate with staff to identify problems, review procedures, improve efficiencies and quality of service
    • Recommend and Implement planning solutions to improve workflow
    • Deal with internal and external enquiries. (Load enquiries, complaints, damages and freight location).
    • Ensure all documents are completed accurately for all loading transactions eg ( consignment reconciliation, dimension checking and pallet documentation)
    Skills & experience
    To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
    • 2+ years working in a similar role in the transport and logistics industry
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions promptly
    • Desire to grow and develop
    • A Team Player who sees the value in supporting all parts of the broader business
    • Analytically-minded with the ability to present insights and fact-based recommendations to key stakeholders
    • Able to meet set deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction is met
    • Cert IV in Front line Management or equivalent
    • Applied knowledge of OH&S, Load Restraint and NHVR law
    • First Aid qualification preferable
    • LF Forklift license preferred but not essential
