Working in the public sector with unique departments and divisions that engage in meaningful projects that impact the lives of us as residents of South Australia.
The duties of this role will include:
- Assist with the implementation and ongoing review of the Event Guidelines for the Department.
- Develop and maintain relationships and provide advice and direction to customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities to establish new events in the Adelaide SA.
- Facilitate events and associated activities for hirers and users of departments Park Lands, roads and facilities.
- Provide professional and best practice advice to potential and existing users of the Park Lands and roads, ensuring
- Undertaking site inspections prior to, during and post event to ensure the events are complying with the event licence conditions and all other management plans and requirements.
- The preparation of post event reports including all road events, associated activities, event budgets, invocing and purchase orders.
What you'll need to apply as essential Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Events and Engagement or related field.
- Experience facilitating coordinating and managing large scale events end to end.
- MUST BE A RESIDENT OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA WITH FULL WORK RIGHTS
- Previous experience in similar roles in the public sector, first nations or not for profit organizations.
- A recent copy of resume in simple MS Word text format.
- A cover note in simple MS World for highlighting your years of experience working in similar roles, qualifications, clearances, certifications and availability to start.
