A multinational information technology company based in Macquarie Park is seeking a Help Desk Analyst for a 3 month + contract.

The role of a Help Desk Analyst is to provide remote support via phone, email and remote access for external clients. You will be responsible for responding to initial requests and resolving if possible.

On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing level 1 technical support via email and phone in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Responding to a wide range of software and hardware issues and services queries.
  • Quickly identifying and troubleshooting issues including Microsoft application, web, email, computer networking issues in a timely fashion.
  • Escalating incidents to 2nd level resolver groups where appropriate.
  • Logging calls via a ticketing system.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Good exposure in a similar IT help desk position.
  • Good working knowledge of Active Directory & Exchange.
  • Solid customer service skills and troubleshooting experience.
  • Have worked in a Windows environment.
  • Strong Microsoft skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Clear, concise and polite phone manner.

An excellent hourly rate is on offer.
