Your New Company

Lean practitioner required for a global supply chain leader specialising in the rail and transport sectors.

Your New Role

A Lean champion with demonstrated experience in supply chain and warehousing you will work with external clients to manage and deliver projects/programmes to allotted time frames. Within this role, the Lean Practitioner will work to deliver agreed objectives, and coach and support team members in order to develop Lean capability and transfer knowledge to meet clear objectives.

Your key duties

• Develop client relationships through Project/Programme implementation.
• Establish a credible and valued working relationship at all levels of the business
• Engage and communicate effectively with different levels of the organisation and stakeholders
• To communicate effectively and work to support other Practitioners within the team
• Develop project plans
• Conduct detailed diagnostics and establish current state and improvement opportunities
• Design an improved future state, setting future state targets, KPI’s and objectives, agree these with UEP Managing Practitioner and the client and implement effectively
• Integrate findings drawing conclusions and implications from data analysis. Identify the more immediate short-term win opportunities
• Deliver quality reports/feedback to client (including plans to meet objectives) at agreed frequency and complete cases study for all work
• Work with and coach teams at a client site to develop capability and gain trust and support for the project
• Contribute to the development of the business to deliver effective results and sustainable transformation.
• Ensure consistency and standardisation with clients and ensure that the correct methodologies are applied and followed


Your profile

• 1-2 years experience in Lean operations deploying Lean tools and techniques
• 1-2 years facilitation experience
• Experience in the delivery of training

• Level 3 competency in Policy Deployment
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt
• Time and task management and organisational skills
• Presentation and Data Analysis skills
