    Senior HSEQ Advisor

    A leader in the construction industry, this organisation has a foothold in engineering, construction & remediation projects across Australia. There is now an opportunity to join the team as a NSW and ACT HSEQ Advisor to lead a team of safety professionals. This is an instrumental role to drive the safety culture.

    About The Position

    Reporting directly to the National Health & Safety Manager you will champion health, safety, environment and wellbeing for the business with a human centered approach. Managing the HSEQ function in NSW & ACT, you will be instrumental in guiding and leading the operational managers and supervisors across the states. An interesting and fast paced role there is as needed travel required to provide guidance and leadership across the business.

    Senior HSEQ Advisor

    • Proven history in health and safety with experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure projects
    • Strong communication and engagement skills across all levels of a business
    • Impeccable communication skills both written and verbal
    • Management or risk/hazards, audits and investigations
    • Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
    • Tertiary Qualifications in Work, Health & Safety
    • Experience working on bid’s and tenders
    • Competent to run detailed ICAM investigations
    • Environmental compliance experience
    • Provide support and guidance to HSEQ Advisors
    • Assisting with the implementation, maintenance and regular review of the HSE Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001-Quality, AS 45001-Safety, AS14001-Environmental and Federal Accreditation
    • Manage team objectives and ensure targets are achieved
