Based in Sydney Southwest a large local council is looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to provide landscape advice to officers assessing development applications.

As a Landscape Architect you will provide advice to town planners on landscaping lodged as part of Development Applications. The Landscape Architect will be required to inspect completed landscape works when Council receives a request for a Subdivision Certificate.

The Landscape Architect will work in collaboration with the Team Leader Development Assessment Operations. They will provide assistance and input in to the development of landscape operational polices related to Development Assessment.

To be successful in this position you will have relevant qualifications in Landscape Architecture. You will have suitable landscape design and assessment experience. This is a unique opportunity for anyone seeking a part time position in a local council.
