Based in the Chemistry division, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of value and excellence in analytical services to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and business growth. You will be supporting the promotion of a constructive, highly performing team that places its customers at the heart.
Key responsibilities:
As the Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for -
- Preparation of samples, water change, preparing glass wear, sample disposal, labelling and taking photos, restocking, moving samples as requirements
- Ensuring timely response to operational enquiries and incidents.
- Providing results in an accurate and timely manner, including result authorisation and sample endorsement as required.
- Participating in internal audits, NATA/BSI/Quarantine (AQIS) audits, Proficiency Testing and AQC Programs
Requirements of the role:
Applicants for this unique opportunity will require the following -
- Laboratory Science or Chemistry laboratory background/experience.
- You will be required to undergo immunisations for this position, to ensure your safety in performing the inherent requirements of the role, including but not limited to: Covid-19, Hepatitis A/B, Q Fever and Flu (mandatory).
