Randstad is seeking an experienced Kronos Support Officer to be responsible for providing assistance with managing people systems (Kronos/Chris 21) across the organisation. Key functions of this role include project support for programme upgrades, assisting with system implementation initiatives as well as providing ongoing business function support.

Key accountabilities:

  • Work with services in reviewing their processes and configuring people systems applications to suit the needs of the various business streams and sites but ensuring that all systems adhere to best practice standards.
  • Assisting with the ongoing maintenance at both the technical and application level and the implementation of future versions/system updates.
  • Analyse business process requirements against application functionality.
  • Gain a level of understanding and knowledge of new application functionalities via new release notes and modules.
  • Document and provide training, end user manuals, cheat sheets on “people systems” applications and additional functionalities.
  • Provide user training and ad-hoc training to sites upon request.
  • Update all documentation and training material to remain consistent with changes in business processes and system developments.
  • Participate in regular data audits and people systems business process reviews to ensure best practice processes are being followed.
  • Involvement in projects - new systems, new module implementations, version upgrades etc.
  • Provide support to facilities that come on board with full implementation of various core people systems applications.
  • Participate in change control process – technical and end user documentation for people systems changes.
  • Comply with relevant WHS policies, procedures, work instructions and requests.

Essential requirements:

  • Thorough working knowledge in the use and configuration and upgrade/maintenance people systems applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Kronos (V8, V7 or V6).
  • Experience with creating end-user communication documentation.
  • Strong customer service focus with strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to transfer skills to team members and end users as required in a timely and effective manner.
  • SQL database and query experience desirable.
  • Experience working with Chris21 also desirable.
