Our client are a well established privately owned, leading Australian and New Zealand electronics retail company that are committed to providing their customers with the best quality, range, and value for money. The Role

The role of Key Account Sales Manager maintains and expands relationships with existing and potential new group accounts to achieve set sales and GP targets. The focus of this role is to maximise sales and opportunities with the B2B and retail sales sectors. Finding new business accounts and retaining large existing business accounts are key priorities for this role as well handing on-site requests from clients for product, special request and site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with clients
  • Work With General Manager and Buying team to continually refresh and develop our range to meet customer requirements
  • Client relationship management including updating of all relevant information into Salesforce as directed
  • Manage on going business accounts
  • Achieving & exceeding sales targets
  • Generating new business opportunities to expand the existing customer base
  • Providing product support and advising customers on product solutions
  • Building customer relationships through strong customer service and a can do attitude with a willingness to always exceed expectations
  • Ensure positive customer experiences and satisfaction is achieved
  • Manage and maintain regular call cycles
  • Cold calling and growth of the existing data base
  • Being capable of preparing quotations, tenders and conduct product handover and product demonstrations

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Electronic sales experience (not essential)
  • Confident cold calling skills and a professional manner
  • The ability to convert leads to sales
