    Large company located in Jandakot on the look out for a Junior Support Officer to deliver administrative support across a variety of operations. Great opportunity for someone with junior administrative experience ready to take on a new challenge and grow your career.


    Purpose of position:
    • Provision of cross WA Transport contract support to facilitate efficient delivery of common activities.
    • To provide support and resource to the supervisors and managers allowing them to focus on their
    • specific value add tasks.
    • To embed a full-time resource in the business that can deliver to critical task deadlines (both daily and monthly), who will flex their hours to meet these commitments
    • Role has opportunity to develop on a financial, commercial and general administration track

    Key responsibilities:
    • Support accurate and timely pricing and record keeping for third party damage claims including TM,
    • materials and cost summaries
    • Accurate and timely entry of stock data into SAP financial systems to create live stock on hand data
    • Resolution of any issues with stock data with the operational team
    • Working with Stores team to optimises stock management through analysis of system data
    • General purchasing activities to support wider administrative team
    • Delivery of time critical routine month end accounting and reporting activities including preparation of
    • time critical accruals and client reports
    • Preparation of monthly reports
    • Plant and equipment administration including fuel card tracking and organisation, maintenance and repair scheduling, driver register updates, cost verifications, PO / receipting
    • Travel bookings
    • Credit card reconciliations
    • General data entry and filing
    • Contract work order drafting
    • Ordering, distribution and management of PPE
    • General administration and other duties as directed

    Minimum requirements:
    • Completion of year 12
    • Strong numeracy and English language skills (written and spoken)
    • Intermediate MS Suite including Word and Excel
    • Ventia systems knowledge and experience advantageous (Share-point, SAP)
    • Demonstrated ability to perform accurate and rapid data processing
    • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
    • Previous experience in general administration, specifically commercial and finance would be
    • advantageous
