This well established Federal Government department based in Canberra City is looking for an APS4 Administration/Coordination Support Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a contract for 12 months to start ASAP. Your duties will include but not limited to:Undertaking administrative and Secretariat support duties including meeting coordination, travel coordination, mailbox management. Project and Program Management Coordination support activities. .Processing Invoices, day to day budget management and assisting in section budget forecasting. Supporting in the development, coordination and distribution of briefings, paper submissions.Draft simple correspondence for use in both internal and external decision-making forums.To be Successful:Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint and Gov teams is required. Advanced word processing skills are highly desirable. Appropriate written and oral communication skills.Experince in an administartive support, project support or similar role and experince using record management systems is required.Ability to work collaboratively with the section staff and be a coordination point to meet business Priorities.Previous experience working in Australian Public Service roles is highly desirable.
