About your role
Due to the high success and profitability of our Government team in Sydney CBD, a new unique opportunity has arisen for a Junior Recruitment Consultant to join us. You will work closely with & be mentored by an experienced Team Leader who has been with Randstad for 5 years, whilst also gaining additional training from Principal & Senior Consultants across the team!
This opportunity will allow you to gain knowledge of your market & the tools to grow and develop your career in recruitment. You will focus on recruiting (sourcing & placing) temporary, fixed term and permanent Office Support and Professional staff in a variety of role types; Administration, Executive Assistant, Claims & Dispute Resolution, Contract Assessors, Grants Assessors, Project Officers (across Legal, Health and Compliance divisions) for various Federal Government Departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Screening and shortlisting resumes
- Arranging and conducting interviews with skilled jobseekers (usually people with previous government experience)
- Developing and managing your own candidate talent pools for each role type
- Matching your recently interviewed candidates to current vacancies
- Calling & visiting clients (employers) and candidates (jobseekers)
- Creating employment contracts (assignment agreements)
- Conducting reference checks
- Administering candidate information into a database
- Shadowing consultants and attending various training sessions
What you will need to succeed
We are looking for an outgoing and driven Graduate who wants to become a successful Recruitment Consultant. You will have a can-do & positive outlook and be able to successfully work with senior client stakeholders.
You will:
- Ideally have a passion for Recruitment, HR, Sales and/or Client Services
- Ideally have previously worked as a Resourcer, Candidate Manager, HR Admin or HR Coordination type role, however we are open to other backgrounds also.
- Boast a strong customer service background & enjoy sales
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Like working closely with your team as well as independently
- Have experience hitting KPI's/targets
- Be able to demonstrate your resilience & hardworking attitude
