We are seeking an experienced, security cleared (Baseline minimum) APS5 Graphic Designer for a contract that runs through until the end of the financial year. AT this stage, there is no opportunity for extension.
This APS5 Graphic Designer is a short-term contractor role, with an immediate start until the end of June 2021.
The APS 5 Graphic Designer will work as part of a small team of designers and under the supervision of the Team Leader (EL1) to create high-quality content for a variety of internal and external communications channels. As well as being technically skilled, the role requires a candidate with established administration and organisational skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
What will you do?
- Re-size and edit images as required for various platforms.
- Use templates and conceptualise unique designs for online and print publications.
- Use templates and conceptualise unique designs to deliver a variety of products for social media, web and internal communications.
- Uphold departmental and Australian Government branding guidelines.
- Work as a part of a team, manage simple tasks with minimal supervision, communicate effectively with clients and manage competing priorities.
Experience/qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in graphic design.
- You must be able to demonstrate a high degree of competency in Adobe InDesign.
- You must be able to demonstrate a moderate degree of competency in Photoshop.
You must hold a valid security clearance (baseline minimum) to be eligible for this position.
