The successful candidate would have a developed understanding in a wide variety of technologies with typical responsibilities involving:Defining, leading and advising on applicable information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.Creation of complex security architectures for high assurance systems;Deliver sound and timely information security design advice.Can recommend technological or procedural solutions to meet security control intent in support of engineering projects.Experience with creating and / or conducting a cyber-security program co-ordinated across contractor, customer and external security advisors.Provide cyber security technical advice and guidance to the broader project leadership team To be successful you will have:Working knowledge of the Australian Defence security framework and associated policies and procedures including familiarity with the Australian Cyber Security Centre Information Security Manual.Understanding of developing and implementing information security practices in an engineering environment.Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex security concepts to a broad and diverse audience.A desire to work as part of a dynamic team supporting a diverse range of technologyIndustry recognised information security qualification (CISSP, CISM, ISO 270001, IRAP, DRAP, etc.) and or relevant experience.Ability to obtain a Security Clearance - The preferred applicant will be required to successfully undergo the security clearance vetting process at the TOP SECRET NEGATIVE VETTING 2 level. This 6 month contract opportunity with a chance to extend will see you be responsible for definition and delivery of architecture and design deliverables of the Data Analytics and Reporting project based the businesses requirements and the conceptual solution architecture. You will be expected to provide technical leadership and direction with multiple vendors, designers and developers. As you lead, you will identify and implement solution componentes to ensure they're designed to current architecture policies and strategies.
