Are you an experienced Japanese teacher and ready for a new change? Or have you just graduated and are looking for your first job?
For a medium sized school in Mackay we are looking for a passionate Japanese teacher that can teach yr 7-11 Japanese (yr 12 the following year as well) and is able to start ASAP!

About the school

  • Co-educational, secondary college with over 700 students
  • Very collegial and supportive team that works together
  • Pedagogy coach and Mentor teacher program available for new teachers
  • Will become international school in the near future
  • 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from 3 beaches!

About the role

  • Full time, permanent ongoing for right candidate, ASAP start
  • Yr 7-11 (yr 7-12 in future)
  • Possibly one class of English (negotiable)
  • Relocation costs reimbursed

About you


  • Are an Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
  • Have a valid current registration with QCT or ability to obtain on short notice
  • Have up to date senior curriculum knowledge
  • Are able to start ASAP
