Randstad is seeking an experienced IT Risk Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring and reporting on the systems and processes that support governance, risk and compliance within ICT.

Key accountabilities:

  • Identify and analyse ICT practices to ensure compliance with business, statutory and legislative obligations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative policies in line with the framework and develop frameworks and systems for policy compliance and reporting.
  • Lead participation in the Enterprise Risk Management process to ensure representation of ICT considerations.
  • Lead the IT reporting on and response to Enterprise Risk Management processes inclusive of the consolidated reporting for the Risk Committee and the IT Senior Leadership Team.
  • Lead the coordination and IT response to internal audit activity, and maintain tracking and reporting to ensure achievement of management actions to agreed delivery dates.
  • Develop, implement and facilitate communication and awareness programs on governance, risk and compliance practices for employees.
  • Develop, implement and monitor reporting mechanisms for governance and risk practices to support compliance and highlight areas of exposure.
  • Ensure hazards and risks are identified and controlled for tasks, projects and activities that pose a health and safety risk within your area of responsibility.

Essential requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in related discipline (IT, Finance, Business, etc.) with substantial experience in an Operational Risk/IT Audit & Advisory/IT Risk Control function, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience. Relevant contemporary certification or accreditation is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience of governance, risk and compliance frameworks and their application in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated partnering skills and the ability to work collaboratively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with non-technical and technical audiences at all levels.
  • Strong facilitation skills, including ability to influence, negotiate and deliver training.
  • Proven advanced computer skills, in particular Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated high level ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to work productively and efficiently as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Ability and capacity to implement required health and safety policies and procedures.
