If you're a driven technical Customer Service/Inside Sales professional who is looking for a growth opportunity within a dynamic environment, an Inside Sales Representative role with our client is for you! Join a team of energetic, hard-working professionals and watch your career take off to new heights. The role has the responsibility for providing a full quotation package (cost, delivery and documentation) and support to the External Sales team and other branches.

Your administration and sales support background in a busy environment will be an asset. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, typing, strong attention to detail and follow through, are a must in this diverse role.

Responsibilities;

• Review quotation tenders’ requirements
• Getting quotations for international freight
• Calculating full package price including adding margins to cost prices
• Preparing and submitting quotations
• Converting quotes to orders
• Managing customer orders
• Providing sound customer service to internal and external customers
• Managing enquiries through shared inbox
• Liaising with factories and procurement for updates on customer orders
• Giving technical support to the sales team and customers as required
• Answering phone and emails for technical enquiries and quotation
• Working closely within the organisation to ensure quote requirements are communicated, completed and customer requirements met
• Giving technical and administrative support to the project and sales team
• Provide leadership in the development of solutions and systems that would improve quotation or orders process
• CRM management
• Proactive admin and data maintenance

Work experience and skills:

Essential experience

• Motivation for customer service and have at least 2 to 5 years of successful inside sales / customer service experience
• Microsoft office suit
• Outlook

Desirable qualifications

• Experience working within a mechanical environment.
• Experience in the valve or process control related industries
• A trade, diploma or degree background in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic field (or some knowledge)
