Randstad are working closely with a reputable client that supports the mining industry, this growing organisation is seeking an Internal Sales consultant who will be fully supported and trained. You will be responsible for day to day company sales and converting a quote opportunity to sales.

Working within a team environment and reporting to the sales director; you will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and sales via the phone, both inbound and outbound. Your phone manner will be professional, friendly and focused on upselling products and solutions as well as resolving customer queries in a timely fashion in alignment with excellent customer service and QA policies and procedures.

This position would suit a customer service focused individual with experience or high interest in technical assistance, customer service and sales with an ability to upsell products based on the identification of customer needs. You must have experience assisting a sales team within manufacturing, mining or similar.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Intermediate + Microsoft Office skills
  • Be technically minded

As the successful Internal Sales Consultant, you will:

  • Support customers via phone and email
  • Qualify, submit and follow up quotes in a timely manner
  • Resolve enquiries or issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist team and clients with general administrative tasks
  • Build rapport and relationships with key clients
  • Drive your own knowledge of business product
