Are you an Internal Auditor? Would you like to further your career in State Government?

A department of NSW State Government is looking for an internal auditor to conduct any audit or review of strategic, operational and information technology management systems, applications or programs including but not limited to compliance, risk based, information technology or performance audits in all areas of the department.

In this role you will Develop, implement and promote compliance processes in conjunction with Audit Directorate quality assurance systems. You’d also be responsible for promoting internal control to audit customers and other managers including the delivery of training and response to customer needs and priorities.

This role will start as contract until the end of March 2018, with possibility to extend. The office location in Darlinghurst.

To succeed in the application process you will have

  • proven experience in internal auditing
  • excellent communication skills
  • proven experience establishing and managing relationships with key stakeholders
  • high level understanding of SAP finance system
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Drivers Licence
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as accounting, finance
