integration developer - hl7 and rhapsody in Brisbane

As an Integration Developer, you will be working on a large project of work with a well known healthcare organisation. You will work closely with the Technical Delivery Lead to provide expert skills in the design, development and implementation of interfaces within a large scale project.

This is an opportunity for an experienced integration developer with in-depth knowledge of HL7 and Orion Rhapsody integration toolset. Prior experience in ICT system implementation and migration delivery would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop integration components, adhering to the project architectural and integration framework standards;
• Participate in integration solutioning, supporting the Integration Architects in eliciting requirements and understanding current state with the view of defining the solution of an interface / set of interfaces;
• Build and maintain a solid understanding of the integrations and business areas that they support;
• Provides information to be used in the monitoring of interfaces and the system to maintain stability and performance.
• Assists as directed in determining long and short term system resource requirements;
• Participate in the resolution of problems – whether it be in operational support or technical delivery – to communicate correctly and ensure technical activities are performed in a timely manner;
• Knowledge of Orion Rhapsody Integration tools and HL7;
• Advanced knowledge of communication protocols and RDF, JSON, XML and XSLT in the context of messaging and transformation;
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and SOAP-based Web Services;
• Champion technical delivery best practises – spanning design, development, verification, deployment and operations – with the aim to improve the smooth and efficient delivery of project activities; and
• Provide assistance to other project team members to ensure priority tasks are completed and milestone dates are met.
