Information Security Assessment Specialist is currently required for a contract to end of June 2019 to provide advice, support and guidance in regards to assessing information security compliance. You will review and register information security compliance of software used in the organization, evaluate both the systems and their uses against relevant Victorian and federal frameworks standards and policies.

You will also be required to perform the below

-Develop, implement and undertake processes to evaluate the level of compliance in relation to Information Security for software used

- The processes must include a logical sequence in relation to information privacy compliance assessments

- Contribute to an ongoing program of work to support the broader Department in raising its overall maturity against the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards

- Provide authoritative specialist advice in relation to Information Security matters as they arise

- Development and delivery of targeted Information Security training materials

To be successful in this position you will be a highly experienced information Security Assessment specialist who has solid experience in providing advice, support and guidance to access information security compliance for large and complex for organizations. Excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills are a must.
