Primary purpose of the role
The Coordinator Records & Information is responsible for providing advice and support to the manager on the delivery of records management services within the organization including identifying, analysing and facilitating improvement to records management systems, processes and workflows aligned with statutory organisational and operational requirements.
Key accountabilities
- Manage a team of technical staff including day to day work allocation, capability development and performance management
- Administer the agency’s electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) – Content Manager
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of organisation’s records ensuring compliance with statutory recordkeeping requirements
Key knowledge and experience
- Maintaining currency of knowledge regarding records and information management (including legislation).
- Managing conflicting and/or concurrent projects across a geographically dispersed organisation
- Exercising judgement, analysing and interpreting complex communication technology issues and challenges, evaluating impacts and determining responses
