About our client:

Our client is one of Australia’s fastest growing shipping agency and Logistics Company. They are a progressive growing business with a friendly, happy and go getter culture.

About the opportunity:

They are now looking for an Import Customer Service Operator to join there Customer Service team based in Southbank Victoria, with an attractive salary of $50-$55k base plus super.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager some of the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service in all dealing with both internal and external clients
  • Provide quotes to customers as required
  • Prepare and process import manifest
  • Lodge all cargoes with Australian Customs and Port Authorities
  • Generate Bills of lading and invoices
  • Receive FIs from export clients
  • Proactively maintain regular customer communication to ensure booking integrity and generate new bookings
  • Manage vessel allocations

About you:

The successful candidate will need to have strong Administration and data entry experience, have high attention to detail, be able to multitask and not be afraid in picking up the phone. Have well written and verbal communication

Additionally any experience within the shipping or logistics industry would be beneficial for this position.
