As the Operations Manager some of the responsibilities required to perform but not limited to are:
- Oversee the operations and actively manage on a day to day basis.
- Help find and engage new clients, with the aim of 100% utilisation
- Work closely with the Managing Director to Plan & promote a safe and healthy work environment
- Manage the Personnel and resources of the Victorian workshop facility
- Ensure that bookings are entered onto the booking system, and that this is kept up-to-date at all times
- Liaise with clients on availability of equipment as required
- Ensure security of all company/branch assets
- Manage and influence staff to ensure quality standards are maintained
Skills & experience
To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
- 3+ years experience in a previous management role or similar role
- MUST have knowledge of Trailers and Transport in general
- Previous experience in Transport with a logistics provider or within a large manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions promptly
- Desire to grow and develop
- Ability to work within and contribute in a team environment
- Must have good customer service skills
- Intermediate operational IT skills.
- A high level of commitment to safety.
- Experience in Equipment Hire
