job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of ICT operations, including service desk, back-ups, Active Directory Management, asset and software management and procurement;
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issue using analytical and investigative techniques;
  • Ensure ICT systems and processes are best practice, documented and maintained in accordance with the company's Policy and industry standard service delivery frameworks;
  • Direct and provide hands-on support of the ICT team to ensure best possible systems availability across an array of technologies including firewall/utm, routing/switching, wireless networks, and virtualisation, MSSQL, MDM and SCCM.
  • Implement assigned ICT projects within agreed timeframes;
  • Contribute to the development of business systems.



Requirements:

  • A minimum MCSA/MCSE or equivalent; tertiary ITC qualifications highly regarded
  • Minimum of 5 years’ ICT operations experience with Microsoft client/server environments;
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing ICT infrastructure;
  • Contemporary knowledge of ITC infrastructure including Firewall/UTM, Routing/Switches, Wireless Networks, Virtualisation, Core Services, MSSQL, MDM, SCCM;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships;
  • Demonstrated results orientation, sound judgement and problem solving ability;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and an ability to effectively manage competing priorities;
  • Ability to handle, in a professional manner, queries, complaints and any situations which may arise;
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours as determined by business requirements;
