Randstad is currently working with a large organisation to find 5 Project Managers to join a high functioning team in a Program of work to assist in the Digitisation of the workplace. These projects are medium scale therefore junior to mid level Project Managers will be considered.

Role Requirements:

  • Managing the definition, documentation and successful completion of a medium scale project in line with project management methodologies.
  • Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
  • Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
  • Manage and monitor resources, expenses and capital costs against the project forecasts.
  • Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
  • Manage capability and develop resources by mentoring multi-disciplinary project team(s).
  • Undertake tasks and projects related to information technology service as requested by the Chief Information Officer.
  • Actively contribute to maintaining a safe workplace that values the health and safety of co-workers, clients or visitors.
  • Actively contribute to developing and maintaining a culture where staff are vigilant to risks to themselves, their co-workers, clients or visitors (including health and safety, business and operational risks).
  • Actively participate in the Health Service Performance Planning and Appraisal and Individual Development Planning processes.

Necessary Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the management of a medium scale IM/ICT projects, preferably in the health care industry
  • Proven ability to develop and manage one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups, and facilitate the business change decision-making processes, and the planning and implementation of change.
  • Understanding of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools
  • Proven effective negotiation, consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring a small to medium sized team
  • Proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members.
