Project Manager (Substations), Melbourne (Victoria), $150,000 – $200,000 (Inc. super) + car allowance ($10,000/ annum) + other excellent benefits

Are you Project Manager with HV Substation Experience?

Do you have experience working in the power distribution / high voltage (HV) sector?

Would you like to join one of Australia’s major EPC companies?

Randstad has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join a major player in the HV sector. The organisation is engaged in a number of long-term renewable energy projects, for example refurbishments and new builds of HV switch houses and cable, transformer and switchgear installation within substations at voltage levels from 132kV to 500kV


  • Manage site-based operatives working on these HV schemes
  • Programme of works.
  • Manage the installation of HV cables, switchgear and transformers
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety on site
  • Plan works being carried out
  • Liaise with clients and meet with them on a regular basis
  • Manage financial aspect of projects


  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience as a Project Manager within the HV sector, ideally having worked on transmission substation projects.
  • Driving licence
  • Health and safety qualification (desirable)
  • Substation entry (desirable)
