Are you an outstanding Recruitment/HR Advisor looking for your next challenge?
Partnering with a Federal Government client located in the heart of Canberra, Randstad is seeking experienced & dynamic recruitment/HR professionals. We are looking for highly motivated and experienced recruitment professionals who will bring considerable experience in delivering quality recruitment solutions to business areas.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Contribute in the preparation of written and verbal updates of reports to senior management on the progress of HR strategies and initiatives.
- Provide training and support to team members as required.
- Represent People Support and more broadly People Services Branch on Recruitment matters and provide guidance where required.
- Manage and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and support the implementation of strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and APS and departmental policies.
- Provide specialist and administrative support to managers and staff on a range of Human Resource processes and workplace policies consistent with legislation and Australian Public Service (APS) requirements.
- Resolve moderately complex and complex enquiries and provide information and advice as a representative of the work area. Drive recruitment activities in partnership with Branch recruitment contacts ● Assist surging areas with hiring manager activities where required.
- Provide advice to Divisions/Managers on recruitment, onboarding and other HR processes as needed
- Flag actions with Divisional contacts/Branches and link them with process information and timeframes to enable them to progress HR actions early.
The Successful Candidate:
- Communicate in an effective manner
- Prior Government experience highly desirable but not required
- Experience in this area is highly desirable
- Desire to deliver excellent customer service
- Proven ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with team members and clients
- Have a positive 'can-do' attitude
- Be a committed team player
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Holds Baseline security clearance or has the ability to obtain
