Bekaert Deslee, an innovative specialised global manufacturing company of luxury textiles is the only manufacturer of its kind and is in a rapid growth phase. Based in the Australian branch located in Dandenong South, the centre of Melbourne's south east growth corridor.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Cedric Deleu, who has grown within the business over the past 20 years, HR Business Partner will be responsible for the whole HR & OHS function including:

  • HR administration
  • Various monthly financial and HR reporting
  • Recruitment
  • Training & Development coordination
  • OHS & Workcover including facilitation of committee meetings and training programs
  • Return to Work coordination
  • Policy & Procedure management
  • P&C initiatives
  • Run the payroll on weekly and monthly cycle. Experience desired but wiliness to learn essential

Immediate start. Overseeing a blended workforce of 65% industrial & 35% corporate, your ability to interpret a unique award and apply effectively will be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, experience and confidence to manage a variety of HR & OHS tasks on a daily basis.

  • 5+ years of similar HR Generalist experience
  • Knowledge of OHS & RTW processes
  • Previous payroll experience (or willing to learn and manage)
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to build instant rapport with various stakeholders
  • Professional approach to all tasks
  • Kind & calm demeanour
