job description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resource professional who is outgoing, dependable, detail-oriented and resourceful individual. You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience while enjoying the benefits of working for a reputable Government sector

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for supporting the HR area of Government Departments
  • Data Entry using HR systems
  • Organise induction programs for staff
  • Responsible for analysis of data for staff across the sector
  • Payroll and personnel responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate Health and Safety activities
  • Report on the established performance management program
  • Maintain records in accordance with the relevant awards, agreements and acts
  • Undertake project work as required.
  • Meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Administrative support duties as required

To be successful you will have the following:

  • Experience in general HR admin, Recruitment and some payroll experience
  • Be a driven and focused individual
  • Highly-skilled in typing, writing, grammar and oral communication
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
  • Professional presentation
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Punctual and reliable

The successful candidate will have a good work ethic, pleasant personality and be well presented.
