Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Offer advice and recommendations on an array of workforce activities whilst acknowledging the applicable legislation and policy framework
  • Understand and interpret legislation, policies and guidelines to identify a suitable course of action to meet changing stakeholder needs
  • Using professional knowledge and experience to identify, develop and analyse ideas and alternative courses of action
  • Prepare and implement workforce strategies describing work progress initiatives to achieve organisational development
  • Have working knowledge of Human Resource Management Information Systems, such as; the e-recruit system, SAP, Aurion and others

The Successful Candidate:

  • Experience at the APS5 level working within the Federal Government
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to engage and meet the needs of all stakeholders
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Experience in the HR environment
  • Tertiary qualification or experience in an HR, Workforce Management or Recruitment role
