job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands on HR Manager to manage the HR function and be part of this growing, manufacturing services business. Working full time you will report directly to the General Manager of HR, you will act as a key business partner across their corporate services client group.

The role is primarily operational however, uniquely positioned to influence and implement HR policy and strategy in
partnership with the GM HR.

As the HR Manager your key outcomes are the provision of effective administration of all Human Resources Policy, Processes and Systems. Providing proactive HR generalist advice, coaching and counselling to senior managers, providing appropriate ER / IR support to all business leaders, building leadership capability across appropriate HR and other disciplines and equipping leaders with the right skills and tools to work on the right things and effectively manage
their business / function.

You will support all HR activities within Australia including;

  • Risk Management
  • Performance Management and Policy
  • Learning and development
  • Recruitment and retention strategy
  • Headcount & Salary control

You will be a tertiary-qualified, capable, operational HR generalist with ideally with exposure to Learning and Development. To succeed in this role you will also have;

  • development and implementation of HRIS systems, policies and procedures
  • Learning and development experience would be highly favourable
  • Proven experience in building effective working relationships quickly
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
