Our client is a well known Australian fashion retail brand, with over 200 stores across Australia and NZ. They are a household name with a strong brand reputation and a loyal customer following.

The business is currently going through a period of transition and restructure, therefore are seeking a strong HR Manager with significant change management experience who can offer strategic and operational transition advice and guidance. This position will be required to lead a passionate HR team, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with management internationally.

Key work areas will include:

  • In collaboration with the CEO, manage the implementation of the HR strategic direction
  • Ensure legislative requirements are met
  • Ensure regular succession planning meetings are held and plans put in place to develop high performing staff
  • Oversee the completion of annual performance reviews
  • Influence the culture of the company positively during a time of change
  • Manage remuneration and benefits, undertake annual salary reviews, oversee bonus schemes, manage awards program
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment related legislation


Key requirements include:

  • Must have extensive experience within a HR Management generalist role, in a multi-site retail environment
  • Ability to provide strategic leadership and change management guidance
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
  • Flexibility for minimal travel as required
  • Ideally, ability to commence in April
