job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic HR professional with 3-5 years relevant HR experience. This is a stand alone position supporting a small-medium sized business, therefore knowledge of all core HR related activities impacting the employee lifecycle is key.

Duties will include:

  • General HR administration with administration support
  • Being the first point of contact for all HR related enquiries
  • Updating HR policies & procedures
  • Overseeing the monthly payroll report
  • Preparation of materials for new employee on-boarding
  • Generating reports & providing analysis on employee statistics
  • Conducts data gathering exercises for projects
  • Responsible for establishing and filing documents into employee personnel files
  • Ensures HR systems data is accurate and updated in a timely manner
  • Ad hoc project work as required

Selection Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR Generalist position with a 3-5 years experience
  • Relevant qualificaitons in Human Resources
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and organiation skills
  • Ability to work automously and hit the ground running
