YOUR NEW COMPANY
Our client is a family owned business in the transport and logistics industry. With 350 employees across the group, an opportunity has arisen for a conscientious HR Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone to continue their HR career in the transport industry!
YOUR NEW DUTIES
- Develop all HR policies and procedures in conjunction
- Coach managers and provide ongoing support when recruiting
- Manage employee files and records
- Manage human resource enquiries
- Support with employee reviews
- Providing advice on all employment relations matters and in facilitating redundancies and terminations
- Interpret award entitlements
- Assist as needed in the processing of weekly payroll for the group
- Support the management of workers compensation claims
- Improve company culture by organising social activities, and rolling out culture surveys etc.
WHAT YOU ARE / YOUR SKILLSET
- Minimum 3 years HR experience
- Exposure to blue collar industry
- Relevant Qualifications in HR
- An excellent communicator whether that be verbal or written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Positive and personable
- High attention to detail
