job description

Home Visiting Doctor - After Hours - Adelaide

The role:

Subcontracting position is available with one of Australia’s largest network of home visiting doctors. This position will see you join an organisation that provides quality healthcare in clients' homes outside of normal GP hours: evening, weekends, and public holidays.

To be considered for this position, you must be able to commit to 1-2 shifts per week, however, there is an opportunity to take on a large number of hours, gaining experience within the community and the ability to build your own roster to fit in with your personal commitments. These shifts will be limited to 2-3 suburbs from your chosen location, so you will never be far from home.

Why this opportunity?

  • Potential to earn great money working fewer hours, or alternatively build on your current income
  • Less paperwork! No follow up appointments, simply submitting follow up clinical notes once your appointment is complete
  • Fixed roster or ability to submit when you are free and select suitable shifts
  • Contracts to suit you
  • Be independent and self-employed

Please note that you must be comfortable either driving your own vehicle or covering the costs of a driver, as well as having your own doctor's bag and hold the responsibility for maintaining this.

If this position speaks to your values, apply today! If you have any questions or would like to know more, please reach out to Kate Peraux either via email - kate.peraux@randstad.com.au or call 1300 289 817. She would love to hear from you!!

Our commitment to safeguarding people.

Randstad is committed to the safety and well being of all the people we provide support and care to including children and vulnerable individuals. We take steps to achieve this through our candidate application process. All applicants are required to provide criminal history checks such as a valid Police Check, and where necessary a valid state-based Working with Children Check and/or a National Police Check which are thoroughly screened. Other necessary screening/proof of registrations will be required depending upon your role type. In some circumstances and International Police Clearance is also required. Your consultant will be able to advise if this is applicable to you. Lastly, references are conducted in relation to the applicants' interactions with individuals under your care using an online platform that has an inbuilt fraud alert. Employment is subject to clearance of all relevant checks to ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable people and children who may be in your care.
