job description

My client is a large healthcare company based in the north shore who are looking for a helpdesk administrator level 1 / 2 on a permanent basis to help and support the growing team and company.

Job Purpose:

  • To provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT service and support to all network users and external partners and hands-on support to IT projects as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for mobile, telephony and PC-based hardware and software
  • Provide assistance to other teams
  • Help set up peripherals
  • Ensure the end user has timely updates around the progress of their requests
  • Supervise and mentor the Help Desk Support role
  • Log all requests for technical support into the Help Desk ticketing system in accordance with IT standards
  • Prioritize problems based on priority/severity of issue to ensure that customer obligations are met along with existing SLAs.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Strong communications skills
  • At least 1-2 years experience
  • Must have experience working with: windows, mac and active directory
  • Troubleshooting experience
  • Installing/Imaging software to devices
