Randstad has a current vacancy for a Heavy Rigid Driver in the Tumut area. This role is working with our client, a well respected construction materials company, on a casual/part time basis.

About the role

As part of an industry leading team, the successful candidate in this role will:

  • Delivery of a range of construction materials
  • Assisting with the mixing and preparation of construction materials
  • Face to face customer service
  • Operation of a range of plant and equipment
  • Ability to travel within the region
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role candidates will need:

  • Experience driving heavy rigid trucks preferably in a built up environment
  • Strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities
  • HR (Heavy Rigid) license is essential
  • Previous experience in construction materials industry is advantageous
  • Customer service focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
  • Undergo and pass Drug & Alcohol screening and a National Police Check
