Our client is one of Australia's leading mining contractors who successfully deliver a  diverse range of projects within the mining and civil sector to an exclusive list of global customers. We have 3 x opportunities for PERMANENT Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanics to join this rapidly growing team and division based at Mt Thorley. 


As a key member of the team in providing support to one of our clients biggest customer, you will have a vast knowledge and proven background experience in the mechanical industry where you will perform a high level of technical skills and expertise in planned and unplanned maintenance. This position will see suitable candidates commence immediately.


Successful applicants will possess the follow;
  • Previous experience in similar position and industry 
  • Relevant complete and proof of trade 
  • Order 43 NSW Medical  - desirable 
  • Experience with Hitashi, Leibherr and CAT equipment
  • Current mine site inductions - desirable 
  • Current work at heights
  • Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot and multitask 
  • High level of communication skills and team orientated
  • Adherence to workplace health and safety standards
