Work Health Safety with Compliance

Are you a seasoned safety professional with a knack for compliance? We're looking for a talented Safety Advisor who is seeking an ASAP start.

Location: Canberra
Contract Duration: 8 - 10 weeks possible extension

Role Overview: As an experienced WHS officer you'll play a critical role in ensuring our operations are safe, compliant, and efficient. You’ll leverage your expertise to develop and implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide safety training and guidance to staff.
• Investigate and report on accidents and incidents.
• Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Safety Advisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
